bt-keyboard Okay, one of the things I really, really hate about netbooks -especially the early ones- is that their keyboards are probably the worst things on them. Currently, the new ones have almost full-sized keyboards that'll more or less accommodate large touch-typing hands. Heh, with my Eee PC 701, I've been reduced to hunting and pecking for the correct keys. Don't even get me started on mobile phones and PDAs. Even QWERTY mobile phone keypads are a pain to use long-term. Nothing beats a 100% full-sized keyboard. Speaking of which, a new keyboard that just passed the FCC guidelines is making a minor buzz right now. Bluetooth keyboards aren't really something ...

samsung-st1000-compact-digital-camera

The days of having to plug in all your peripherals to exchange data are long gone, as Samsung proves today with what it claims is the world's first "multi-wireless" compact digital camera.

The ST1000 (not to be confused with Nikon's Coolpix S1000pj announced last week) features built-in GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing for geotagging goodness and connection to any open wireless network for picture exchange.

n71Some call them mobile phones others cellular phones or cell phones for short(geez.. four letters???!!!??), whatever you'd want to call them they're the best solution to our never ending need for communicating along with the lust for gizmos and gadgets. Analog phones started as mere telephones without wires that worked on closed networks with batteries as large as a suitcase. When it went digital, the magic began when Nokia unknowingly included a free service programmed within their phones called SMS or texting to some. People, the ever curious creatures we are, discovered this and went on texting sprees that topped calls these technological wonders were supposed to do....

This is a little funny, really!  But take a look at this "bug designed" bluetooth headset.  Argghh, imagine the questions you'd get every hour "hey is that a bug in your ear", "oh man, you've got a bug! flick it out!".  Or how about someone running towards you with a rolled up newspaper ready to swat it away?  Boy, what a favor right? If you like attention, try this bluetooth headset out.  You'd definitely get what you deserve! LOL. Works like any vanilla bluetooth headset out in the market.  Check out the features: Headset&nbspand&nbspHandsfree&nbspProfile: Bluetooth V2.0+EDR compliant class 2 Class 2 Tx Power Frequency: 2.4GHz Channels: 79 Longest standby time : 300 hours Longest talk time : 9 hours Rechargeable battery Li-polymer Working range : indoors 5 meters     ...

I know what you're thinking... you've probably seen this in a movie somewhere, perhaps by Tom Cruise?  Hmmm... I'm not too sure when I first saw the concept.  One thing's for sure though, it's not a concept anymore. This is a matchbox-size gadget that projects a 63-key QWERTY keyboard on any flat surface.  It actually works!  And to provide you at least with an audible feeling of using an actual tactile keyboard, you can hear "ticking sounds" as you type away. You're sure to turn heads around when you turn this on!  Here are the specifications: Connects to PDAs Smartphones and Computers using Bluetooth Projects a full size keyboard onto any flat surface Allows the convenience of regular keyboard ...

Somehow I keep picturing Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Cruise or Nicolas Cage. It may as well work if Pro-Idee, the "RoadRunner" manufacturer, will fashion it well to look good in a bow & tie set... I know what you're thinking, yes, James Bond will look good on this too. It may seem "too loud" at this early stage, but give it a few more months and you'd see several variations from this model.  The key I believe is to make technology as "invisible" (tech term "user-transparent") as possible.  But this is a good start nonetheless. I’m no hard-core techie so I couldn’t understand how “non-creepy” this may be.  I’ve seen too many movies before where one of the ...

We've put Swarovski crystals on Macbook Airs and re-skinned our iPhones, so I'm not surprised that an emerging trend is the accessorization of the Bluetooth headset. Clunky, dark and ugly no more!  These wireless sensations are about to get all dolled up. The first of what promises to be many in the growing cell phone sector, is the Plantronic Discovery 925.  Currently available to celebs only (Eva Longoria Parker and Brooke Shields have been spotted sporting the 925), the general public can expect these headsets to be released in April. Thinner and lighter than most available earpieces, the 925 will initially be offered black, gold and magenta - with nine more flavors to follow. $149 will not only get you good looks, ...

It’s dead, Jim.

And now, news of the CrunchPad’s demise has reached the blogosphere (twice-over, I must say), we’re here to examine the post-mortem. It was an ambitious project: an internet tablet meant to sell cheap. Everybody was waiting for it with bated breath, but it never came.
