Dell Streak MID

October 27, 2009 by Ade

This video above is featuring the latest MID coming out of Dell. Called the Streak, it runs the newest Eclair (aka, Android 2.0) software courtesy of Google.

Other specs include a 5-inch, 800×400 capacitive touchscreen with multitouch, full 3G broadband support plus WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 5.0 MP camera with dual-LED flash. Also coming along for the ride are a microSD slot, a 1300 mAh battery, and what looks like a front-facing camera. It apparently comes in two colors, based on the pictures, and features touch-sensitive controls along the front bezel.

The Zino HD comes with HDMI port and at least 6 USB connections. There also seems to be a card reader at the front. Sexy looks but sadly my 24″ desktop monitor is rather old fashioned and only has VGA and DVI-D connecters. The Dell Inspiron Zino doesn’t seem to offer the stackable options we know from the Mac Mini either. I love how you can stack Mac Mini, Apple Airport and external harddrive to form one massive heater! [Read more…]
