Figures for April’s hardware and software sales in the US have been released and Microsoft is doing well. The Xbox 360 beat out the PS2 by 90,000 units, selling 295,000 Xbox 360 consoles.
Microsoft also should be smiling on the software side as well. While they did not get first place in game sales, they managed to take second through sixth position with Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, MLB 2K6, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and Tomb Raider: Legend.
Unfortunately, spot number one for April goes to Kindom Hearts II.
