There are many rumors running around on the web right now as everyone cries at their lack of Xbox 360’s, but it looks like a few reliable sources say this friday will bring even more of the consoles into stores, especially for the United States.
What is known as Black Friday comes up this Friday, and as one of the biggest selling days before christmas, Microsoft would be crazy not to have some consoles in stores for people to lay down the money on, and the shortage might have been planned for multiple reasons. Microsoft may have wanted to test Xbox Live without hundreds of thousands of people on it. They may have wanted to test the console out, and find any problems. Also, they might have been looking in to cash in on the Xbox 360 a little more by selling more Core systems so that gamers seek out the expensive accesories which would bring in Microsoft a few thousand more dollars in, as it look like they might be selling many of their consoles at a loss currently.
The shortage could have been a test, marketing ploy, and just one great set-up as they get ready to dump hundreds of consoles into every retail store, and thus putting an end to the profit crazy people on e-bay currently able to find and sell upwards of ten or more consoles themselves despite the shortages.
