Okay, I understand that everyone was hoping for the next level of backwards compatibility for their Xbox 360, but I think some gamers are being a little dramatic about the whole thing, as there is a list of all the games the Xbox 360 won’t be able to play on release day. My opinion on that is so what?

If you have a swarm of Xbox games, you probably have an Xbox to play them on. If it does not work on the Xbox 360, you can wait until it does work, or trade in the games to get money to buy Xbox 360 games, which will have better graphics, more features, and hopefully a better gameplay experience.

Also, Microsoft has stated that it will be working on increasing the compatibility, which I think they should be praised on. The fact that they even have the backwards compatibility is great, so I think that people should really stop whining about the little details.

For those of you that own games that are not popular, you’d be better off selling them, or trading them in because if I know Microsoft, even if the game is harder to add to the emulator, if it is popular enough it will be added and long before they move onto working on the less popular games. Also, many of the games currently not available for the Xbox 360, can be bought for the PC, so dump you Xbox, and games, and pick up your favourite titles on the PC. Nintendo has never had any real backwards compatibility in its home consoles, and it does not look like their Revolution will have any real backwards compatibility either, and it is not stopping them from producing their console. Why is that? Because they really don’t care about backwards compatibility. Be grateful for the list of “can-play” rather than whining about the list of “can’t-play”.
