Binary LED clock

January 22, 2006 by Ben

Binary LED clock

I was looking for a new alarm clock / CD player, when I stumbled across this binary LED clock. Ignoring the fact that it has none of the features I was looking for, besides for its ability to tell time (albeit involving using your brain), it looks awesome.

The clock contains 20 LEDs that represent the numbers of both the true and shortened binary sequence (32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1). The first two columns show the hours, the next two columns show the minutes, and the last two columns show the seconds.
