satuGO

Posted by Ben as Cameras

satuGO

Idiotic to some, ingenious to others, this 3 megapixel camera takes pictures when it hits the ground. Just to reconfirm, you have to throw the ball like camera, and when it hits a surface it takes a picture.

The satuGO can also function as a still camera with a timer and flash, as well as a USB web cam and a flash drive.

Specifications include a CCD, USB rechargeable battery, diode flash and 1GB of NAND memory.

It looks like a grenade (with the pin and lever). I can just imagine seeing people duck when this thing is thrown. :)

Can one vary the shutter speed? I’d sure want to experiment across different exposure times with images-in-motion, i.e. when I toss the cam somewhere.

I’m thinking everything would end up blurry, and I also fail to see how this dovetails with voyeur activities…
