Microsoft announced today that they are going to open an Xbox 360 Lounge this November in one of Tokyo’s busiest retail areas, Omote Sando.
At today’s press conference a few slides were showed from the construction site, along with concept renderings of the building. This explains those mysterious pictures of an Xbox 360 building being built in Tokyo that we posted a while back.
The Xbox 360 Lounge will feature a number of different living room-like sections, complete with high-definition televisions and 5.1 home theater systems that will let gamers experience the high-definition home concept that Microsoft seems so keen on pushing, where the Xbox 360 is the center of the experience.
It is not confirmed yet, but rumor has it that the United States will see a similar Xbox 360 Lounge to open in downtown New York City.
