It looked like for a while that there were not going to be any more backwards compatibility updates until March. This was quickly squashed by Microsoft.
IGN was the first one to get a response from Microsoft, saying that previous reports were incorrect, and that they are continuing with the updates, though no word on when the next update is going to happen unfortunately.
In an official but canned statement, Microsoft said this: “The backward compatibility updates are not on hold, and we’re working to deliver them as soon as possible. We don’t yet have a delivery date for these and will update you as soon as we can.”
