One thing I’ve noticed about gadget lovers is that they have a minimum of at least three gadgets that they use on an almost daily basis, and that’s just a conservative estimate. It’s not uncommon for an average person to carry a number of gadgets in his bag, what more a person who loves technology and gadgets. But with so many gadgets charging them becomes quite a chore. You need to keep track of as many chargers as your gadgets and it can be quite a bother sometimes. It’s for this very reason why multi-charging stations are becoming quite popular.
There are many multi-charging stations that are coming out in the market, all of them aiming to make life a little easier for the gadget owner. One such product is the Joy Factory Zip charging station. This product offers something that really does sets it apart from the competition.
From the look alone the Joy Factory Zip is way different from other multi-charging stations in the market. The main unit is a shiny pad that has many dimples on its surface. These dimples are crucial to the design of the product. The Zip multi-charging station uses what the company calls ZipTail cables. These cables are are what is connected to the various devices that you can charge on the product. These cables are quite short and the other end terminate in a sort of button. The cool thing about this pad is that the buttons attach to the dimples through magnets. The button and the dimple connection will now allow electricity to flow through the cable and charge the device. The Zip comes with one Micro USB and one Mini USB zipTail. The company, Joy Factory, has not yet given any information if it will also sell separate ZipTails that terminate with other popular ports – like the ones for iPods and cellphones.
