Glasses Designed To Reduce Eye Fatigue

July 14, 2011 by Rogue

My work is one hundred percent reliant on a computer. What this means is that I spend an inordinate amount of time facing a monitor, typing away. I usually clock in 12 hour days so by the end of the day, I’m really tired and my eyes are so fatigued I sometimes have difficulty focusing on objects.

As a way of giving me some comfort when I’m working, I’ve bought a number of things that will help me and ease some of the discomfort I feel at the end of the work day. I’ve bought an LED lamp so that I can more clearly see my keyboard but at the same time saving some electricity and not generating a lot of heat in my vicinity. I’ve bought some ergonomic items like an ergonomic keyboard and mouse to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. I’ve also bought wrist rests to help me when typing. But with all these additions there’s one thing that is left behind – my eyes. The eyes get fatigued when one works for long hours in front of the computer. But finally I found products that actually address this concern.

The J!NS PC and J!NS Moisture are products that have been specially designed to help reduce fatigue on the eyes. The J!NS PC has been specially designed to cut down the amount of blue light that is emitted from a computer monitor by up to 55 percent. Blue light has been identified as one of the main factors that cause eye fatigue. The J!NS Moisture, on the other hand, is an interesting gadget. It has a small plastic cube that you insert into the frame of the glasses and it produces moisture – up to two hours non-stop. The moisture helps prevent the eyes from drying out.
