Medically oriented gadgets come few and far between in the world of gadgets. There may be a lot of reasons for this but I won’t even speculate. Needless to say that when a gadget that has a medical application or benefit is released it will surely cause a stir.
Nothing would cause a stir more though than a gadget that treats erectile dysfunction. Before you snigger and think of any dirty jokes, erectile dysfunction is a serious debilitating disorder that surprising number of men suffer from. You might think that erectile dysfunction is a problem only old men suffer from but the truth of the matter is that even people who are in their 20s or 30s can suffer from erectile dysfunction.
The new erectile dysfunction treatment device is called Viberect. This gadget, which looks like tongs, is designed to induce erections in men who suffer from mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. It is also a good solution for men who have undergone prostactectomy and those who have spinal cord injury related dysfunctions. The device is clipped on to the penis and the device induces rapid and repetitive stimulation at very high frequencies. About seven to ten minutes of treatment with the device can result in workable erections. According to medical experts it can even increase the level of orgasms and ejaculation.
The Viberect looks like a great erectile dysfunction treatment device for people who suffer from erectile dysfunction but do not want to go and take the chemical route (taking pills or intra-urethral medication) because of fears of side effects. This mechanical alternative will surely be a great addition to the growing arsenal of erectile dysfunction solutions, although admittedly it is not going to be as discrete as the other solutions currently being offered in the market.
There’s no price listed for the Viberect just yet but it will be sold with a doctor’s prescription.
