Top Ten Bogus Rumors About the Xbox 360

The Gamerscore Blog takes a look at popular rumors surrounding the Xbox 360, and gives reasons why the rumors are nothing more than rumors, and should not be believed.

Here are a few of the ones listed:
10. Kameo is a kid’s game.
9. Xbox 360 is being recalled.
8. Microsoft is intentionally witholding product so as to build artificially high demand.
7. Halo 3 is finished, and just sitting in a warehouse somewhere (in Poughkeepsie)
4. We stopped working on backwards compatibility.

Now, the only thing I will add to this whole thing is that people seem to have the common misconception that the Xbox 360 is just a computer. That really bugs me both as a computer gamer and now as a console gamer. To use such an argument, you may as well say that every console thus far is just a computer, specifically made for gaming. Please also take into consideration, that just a video card that is on par with the Xbox 360’s will run you more than the price of the Xbox 360.
