The Xbox 360 Brick

Posted by David as Gadzooki News

Xbox Power BlockHopefully, when the final version of the Xbox 360 is released it won’t include a power block like the one shown in the picture. It is the size of a power bar and ten times uglier.

I had wondered how the Microsoft team was able to add so much to the Xbox without increasing its size and whatnot. Did they remove the whole power supply unit to the brick like Apple’s Mac Mini?

Microsoft has been given thumbs up on almost all of their other design elements, let’s hope that their design team looks at the power cord as well before shipping out the final units.

The people at Kotaku were the ones to snag this image of an old prototype Xbox 360 power brick.
