It looks like Japan is not getting any love from Microsoft. I am very surprised because I thought they were really going to target the Asian market with this console release to steal some of Sony’s thunder, but it as much as they will enjoy the console, I think they might be frustrated as they will only be able to play twelve Xbox games on their Xbox 360.

That list includes:

  • Crimson Skies
  • Fable
  • Forza Motorsport
  • Grand Theft Auto Double Pack
  • Halo
  • Halo 2
  • Halo 2 Map pack
  • Jade Empire
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Ninja Gaiden Black
  • Rainbox Six 3
  • The Simpsons Hit and Run

It is said that they will be adding to that list soon, but it looks like the North American titles are the priority for backwards compatibility.
