Bill Gates Interviewed

No, not by me…Don’t I wish. But it was by the crew for the Official Xbox Magazine. It looks like Bill has his head on straight, but puts out some very scripted answers. I can understand him wanting to play up the current console, but he could have also had us salivating over the Xbox 720 (or whatever it’s going to be called). The best he did was by not denying there would be another console. Infact, in almost all questions he was trying to push the Xbox 360, rather than talking more about the past or the future.

If PS3 wins the next round in terms of market share, will there be a third Xbox console?

Bill Gates: I can’t emphasise this enough – we’re in this for the long term, and we’re confident that our constantly advancing technology will win millions more customers around the world.

Most of the talk is about marketing and he hits the same point over and over again, basically saying no matter what, there will always be a Microsoft gaming console. Still a great interview, so check it out at The Official Xbox Magazine’s site.
