Gadzooki29 no-nos for gamers over age 30
Posted by David as Gadzooki NewsJoystiq has an article up recounting what gamers over the age of 30 should not be doing.
It is especially funny since according to the ESA, the average age of a gamer is now 30 years old. With my birthday coming up, I am pretty close to the average age of gamers and its funny because now I want to play almost more games than I did when I was a child.
Some of the funnier on the pretty long list include:
- Quit your job to pursue a pro-gaming career
- Play any game with Princess Toadstool in it
- Live in your parents’ basement to support a gaming habit
- Pretend that movies like Doom and Tomb Raider are anything but crap
I still dream of being a professional gamer some day. I think that would be cool, but every time I see one of those videos with some super FPS player killing hundreds of people without dying, I get back to work…
(And Mario Sunshine is the best!)
