When I’m shopping around for a cell phone, I can’t stand the commission based salesman that you encounter at the maill or in the big box retail stores. I like to take my time. To look around. To think clearly about my decision. Salesmen want you to make a quick, impulse decision. They make you feel awkward for asking too many questions.
So that’s why I’ve decided to do all my cell phone related shopping online. The problem with shopping online is dealing with all the spammy sites that are out there. But recently I found what seems to me to be the *best of the bunch* when it comes to online cell phone stores: WireFly Mobile.
Not only does WireFly give you all the major American cell phone carriers such as Verizon, Cingular, Sprint and T-Mobile but it makes shopping a breaze. You can search for plans that include that new Motorola RAZR or LG Chocolate that you’ve been salivating over, or you can search by total minutes. You can even browse through a variety of family plans if you need to split minutes with someone else.
On final analysis, there are really two things that make WireFly stand out as my new preferred home for cell phone shopping. First, it’s a one stop shop. They have all the phones, all the plans and all the accessories (ringtones, skins, etc) that I could possibly want). Having everything in one place simplifies my life, and simplicity is very valuable for me these days. Second, I can take my time and don’t have to deal with a stinkin’ salesman pressuring me to buy something within the next five minutes! I can go at my pace and get exactly what I need without having to look elsewhere.
