etop_02I was intrigued by a Yahoo Tech News Review regarding the Asus Eee Top PC.  It says AsusTek Computer Inc. is now eyeing to conquer the second-least  computer-friendly room, the kitchen.  Continuing my thought, I asked myself, what is the most-least computer-friendly room in a house?  The restroom? The garage? The closet?  (chuckles)

I am believing the Asus Eee Top PC is being aimed at kitchen use because of it’s “free-ness”.  The entire PC occupies a fourth of the counter-top size a microwave would get.  No keyboards, no mouse to operate it.  Everything is “touch sensitive”.  Good one, I think.

But because this IS the kitchen, I could imagine the Asus Eee Top PC screen would at times be used by hands greased, powdered, smeared by kitchen hands.  But I think this is a small thing that a screen skin could address too.  A PC in the kitchen is valuable, I could imagine recipe books would be the least it can be used for.  Cooking or baking videos, online access to wonderful dishes from other parts of the globe.  And, of course, we see online grocery shopping too in there.
