Here's a good case made by the GeekSugar.com blog (http://www.geeksugar.com/1550696), and is exactly what I have thought of regarding Apple's mighty mouse.  I've contemplated on getting one unit for 6 months already, but everytime I see a great deal from ebay.com, amazon.com, bestbuy.com or even apple.com I just can't seem to click that "BUY NOW" button.  I ended up (three times) getting an A4Tech mouse for both my brand new Macbooks. Yeah, I did give the Mighty Mouse a good try, I liked how it fits my hand.  I also liked the small scroll button (although I know I'd get tired of it soon), but over all, i'd give it a fair mark.  I'm ...

In Part 1 of my Tech and Christianity series, I talked about how important tech would be to a Christian’s ministry. Today, I will talk about what resources there are for the pastor and the lay Christian. First up, there are a myriad of articles on how to walk the Christian life. From Apologetics to devotionals, and even a series of webpages on how to deal with hard issues the Christian/Biblical way, there is no reason for a Christian to fall away from the faith if he is online. Not even the threat of pron could hurt a Christian’s walk, if he loves his God unequivocally. The resources are so many, I even stumbled upon an exposition on the book of Revelation (Chapter 12) that finally seems accurate and highly objective.

Now this must be the fault of watching to many zombie movies while working, as right now I got this "trip" to look for info and what to do in case of a zombie infestation and such. Now While I was looking for some Info on that I found out The Top 10 Zombie Movies from IGN Which is quite informative to expand my Zombie movies DVD collection and to top it off, I found a Zombie Survival & Defense wiki and I found it really entertaining, because on that site I can learn the basics on how to survive, even the skill I need in order to survive a Zombie Infestation. Also the have basic info on ...

Best Cars of 2007

Posted by Jaren as Cars, Reviews
The best car for the year 2007 according to CNN Money's Best Cars 2007 - Consumer Reports The cars that were chosen to be the top picks are those cars that score as the top of its category as the vehicles are also tested for reliability, fuel efficiency, crash protection, satisfaction. And as far as I'm concerned in buying cars I would want to buy the most fuel efficient vehicle out in the market, with the gas prices running to the ceiling I would definitely want a car that thinks of the fuel economy. Budget Car, subcompact Honda Fit The "best overall in a new class of fuel-efficient cars." As fuel efficiency this car runs at 32 mpg with an automatic transmission and ...

Facebook. Finally.

Posted by DummyGeekGurl as Reviews
I had been reading all this buzz about Facebook for quite a while now, yet nothing, not even the buzz in international tech circles, convinced me to even at least check out their homepage. Even though I keep getting URL’s leading to Facebook profiles from Twitter updates from my Twitter “followees,” nothing convinced me to sign up until I saw Yuga’s article on how so many Google bigwigs have jumped ship in favor of the social networking upstart.

Let's first admit that most consumer electronics out there aren't as pleasing to the eye as we would like them to be. (That's why we all agree Apple's products are groundbreaking---if at least for their impeccable industrial design.) Rarely, too, do we see tech products designed for the female taste. It's not just splashing a coat of pink paint on an iPod or a mobile phone. But does it also mean slapping the Hello Kitty motif onto every nook and cranny of a laptop? I wouldn't really say that, but what's the harm in bringing this pop culture icon into the computer gadget industry? This cute cat already has, actually. Looking at three Hello Kitty themed laptops shouldn't be so bad.

It seemed only yesterday when I first received my first phishing email: one fine and dandy Tuesday afternoon, I saw in my self-hosted mailbox what purported to be "PayPal" sent me a very lengthy (it was very lengthy, I tell thee!) email to verify my (at least the email said so) latest online purchase. The message was fancy in HTML, complete with the logo, pale blue PayPal-style border and all that jazz, with a confirmation link at the bottom. It took me a few minutes to realize, and thankfully I did, that I actually used my Gmail account to register for PayPal instead! (I would also like to point out that Gmail with its community-driven spam mail filtering system

PS3 Controller Confirmed

Posted by J. Angelo as Accessories, Reviews
PS3 ControllerAt the E3 conference, Sony has disclosed more details on the upcoming PlayStation 3, and one of those is that the console will be using a controller design with a form factor quite similar to the PlayStation 1 (and 2). Great! None of that boomerang/batman-type controller crap that many loved to hate! Some comments at ForeverGeek: The controller is now lighter and wireless and uses Bluetooth to communicate with the console, but, it has the option of connecting to the PS3 via USB (thank God they didn't make another proprietary port) and also recharges with it. After the positive feedback that Nintendo got after they unveiled their controller Sony decided to do something ...
