I’ve had my fair share of traveling around the USA with my trusty NextStar GPS system.  I never leave home without it, Chicago has too many freeways, turn pikes and fly overs for me to deal with.  When I need to get from point A to point B in Chicago land and the suburbs, the GPS is a sure thing.

The usual GPS maps are all in either 1D or 2D.  Haven’t seen a real 3D GPS before, that’s why when I read about the Navigon 7200T GPS Navigator… you guessed it, my jaw dropped!

It has all the bells and whistles as my NextStar GPS system but the 3D graphics is to drool for.

It’s priced a little higher though, at $449 plus tax… I’m not too sure people will grab it.  Common thinking would be that mobile GPS systems are meant to guide you, not WOW you with its awesome graphics.  But that’s just my opinion.

I do like how it looks though.  If I could afford it, I’d probably get it myself.  Ummm.. who’d like to buy my NextStar? :)
