The new iPod Nano is nothing to sneeze at… really!  Just when I thought the Nano series has hit a brick wall in development, it has made a come back… a whopping comeback.  Kudos to Steve Jobs and his hard-working team.  I really thought that the iTouch series has taken over.  But it really is a product where it still makes a firm territory of its own.

What territory is that you say?  I believe the iPod Nano and iPod Touch are quite similar in a lot of sense… but one things where it’s not is… SIZE and PORTABILITY.

The iPod Nano is still a class of its own.  Forget the iPod Shuffle as it is “display-less” and may very well be classed a little for the ultra-penny pincher.  Functionality is a little limited.  But hey, I won’t discount the fact that it still works for some people.

But with the introduction of the new iPod Nano series… I think this will steal a lot of thunder from those who’d be deciding to give an MP3 player these holiday series.  While the iPod Shuffle makes sense… the iPod Nano makes better sense.
