Ok, I see two clock faces there, and what else… hmmm… you sure this is a watch?  I think this will just be one of the many questions you’d need to be prepared to answer “time and time again”.  All the wierdness, actually.  Form and function is no where behind this concept, unless you’ve got the manual to explain to you what’s happening.

This is the Romain Jerome Day&Night.

World First – An exceptional timepiece that does not indicate the time!

With no display for the hours, minutes or seconds the Day&Night offers a new way of measuring time, splitting the universe of time into two fundamentally opposing sections: day versus night.

A new interpretation of Time based around two Tourbillons operating sequentially. The Day Tourbillon operates during the day, defining the wearer’s period of activity, and stops after twelve hours, handing over to the Night Tourbillon dedicated to man’s own private sphere.

An avant-garde approach, that is different and even disturbing.

If you live in a haunted castle, drive an eerie automobile and have a butler that answers to the name “Alfredo”, I think you’d like this gadget. Oh yeah, it’s US$300,000 and has only 9 produced… all sold out though.

Surely the ultimate luxury would be to take one’s time?

That is the coolest watch ever, what a good find. Shame it’s so damn expensive, but then that’s the price that you pay for exclusivity.
